Required Information: Order number, order date, product name/ID, and a detailed description of the issue.
Note: Customers are responsible for all shipping charges associated with warranty services.
What the Warranty Covers
Warranty service is available for product defects, including:
-
Inability to charge under normal conditions.
-
Battery life significantly shorter than specified after a full charge.
-
Failure to reach a full charge.
-
Other manufacturing defects.
Important Note: A gradual decrease in charge capacity is normal for all rechargeable batteries and is not considered a defect. Our battery failure rate is approximately 1%; failures typically manifest immediately upon use.
If you suspect a hardware issue (e.g., faulty motherboard charging circuit or software issues), our technical support team is available to help you diagnose the problem before you ship the product back.
Warranty Replacement Process
If a battery failure is confirmed within one year of receipt, Batterymall.com offers three resolution options:
-
Option 1: Remote Technical Support – Our technicians provide remote assistance to resolve software or configuration issues.
-
Option 2: Replacement – The buyer returns the defective battery (at the buyer's expense). We will provide a new battery at no cost, but the buyer must cover the shipping fees for the replacement.
-
Option 3: Partial Refund – If the issue cannot be resolved remotely and a return is not feasible, the seller may issue a partial refund, allowing the buyer to seek local repair services.
What is NOT Covered:
-
Batteries purchased from other retailers or companies.
-
Batteries that are merely discharged but can still hold a charge.
-
Damage resulting from abuse, overcharging, improper installation, freezing, or improper conditioning.
-
Removal of warranty stickers or evidence of tampering with internal components.
-
Incorrect battery sizing/specs selected for the laptop's requirements.
-
Limit: The warranty is valid for a maximum of two replacements.
-
Natural Degradation: An 80% remaining capacity after 1 year (or 60% after 2 years) is considered normal and is not eligible for warranty replacement.
